Stepping into Casa De La Iguana felt like entering a hidden paradise in the heart of the jungle. The beautiful garden, with hammocks swaying under the shade of vibrant flowers, offered a tranquil and relaxing atmosphere, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The little pool provided a refreshing dip, while the terrace and patio showcased stunning views of the lush surroundings, allowing us to connect with nature. The restaurant served delicious breakfast choices, and we appreciated being able to order at any time between 7-11, even though the portions could have been a bit more generous. The staff were incredibly friendly, offering valuable local travel advice and recommendations, helping us make the most of our stay. Their attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness, including the bathrooms and showers, added to the overall comfort of our experience.Despite its proximity to the charming but not-so-polished streets of Livingston, the presence of a security guard at night added an extra layer of reassurance. The free WiFi access was a bonus, allowing us to stay connected while disconnecting from the outside world within this serene oasis. The eco-friendly amenities, such as the availability of drinkable water and the option to wash and hang clothes, aligned perfectly with my eco-tourism values, making our stay both comfortable and sustainable.
